The trail is just mowed grass that meanders through the fields. It still made for a very nice walk and tons of photo ops. Those rain clouds that gave me fits earlier in the day, now made for perfect clouds against a beautiful blue sky.
There was a continual breeze throughout my walk and I took the the opportunity to just sit and take it all in on this bench. I sat there probably for 20 minutes or so. Just a perfect day for a walk like this.
There are no shaded areas on the trail. At least not on the part I did. If there hadn't been such a nice breeze it would have been a pretty hot walk.
On the opposite side of the barn is a camping area. There was a noisy bunch over there so I didn't bother to walk around the other side of it. I do plan on going back soon to spend more time and go to the areas I didn't get to yesterday.
The next two were taken from the back porch of the nature center. It looks like something you would see in Wyoming or Montana, don't ya think?
I told hubs this is an area I could so live in. Definitely on my list of places to search for land so I can build my little log cabin.
Have a Happy Week!
